Away v Aylesbury Town Saturday 17 June 2023
I was delighted that we were able to take 5 Triples to Aylesbury where we were welcomed by Captain Darren. On this occasion we played 18 ends straight through as is the practice at Aylesbury.
This was a very to and fro match with the outcome in the balance all the way to the final end. Ultimately Winslow won on 3 of the 5 rinks with a final score was 78:73, an narrow 5 shot win for Winslow.
Our highest winning rink this week was that of Diana, Sarah & Tony winning by 9 shots.
