Saturday 3 June - Men's Triples
It was terrific to see some people playing who do not regularly play competitive matches for the club and I hope that they enjoyed the experience.
Many of the players also commented on how nice it was to see other members come along to watch / support us during the play. There were also several groups of spectators viewing the matches from Tomkin’s Park. Wearing the new team kit, our competitors put on a good show for all.
Congratulations to Team C (John Gilbey, Victor & Terry) who won all 3 of their matches. They will be joined in the final by Team A (Cliff, Roger P & Randell) who won 2 of their 3 matches and qualified by being 1 shot ahead of Team B (Jef, Norman & David M) on shot difference.
The date of the final is to be decided in the next week or so.
