Ladies match (2 Triples) played Tuesday June 11th v Buckingham West End at home
At the 3rd attempt, 2 teams were able to play their 1st match against Buckingham West End. Despite the heavy downpour soon after starting, it did not dampen our spirits. Once dry & warm again, the bowling restarted with some very close scores.
Rosie, Valerie & Kay were 16 all after 16 ends & then finished with a flourish winning 22 - 16.
Diana, Sheila & Jane were 16 -11 after 16 ends but lost on the final end 16-17.
The overall result was a win to Winslow 38 - 33.
A most enjoyable afternoon.
