We played a very friendly match of 4 mixed triples against our oldest and friendliest local rivals.
This time we managed to come out on top winning 3 rinks out of 4 and scoring 64 shots to 49 overall.
We had 2 rinks tied for the position of winning rink as follows:
Norman Line, Len Ward and Mike Jones and Paul Farrell, Mick Bigby and John Gilbey
The latter's performance was especially pleasing as both Paul and Mick were playing in their first matches representing the club.I should also mention Tony Burrows who was first reserve for the team came along and stayed to support the team throughout the afternoon.
