On Saturday 28th September we played our postponed second leg of the JL Trophy at Bradwell.

Unfortunately one of our 16 did not turn up but Bradwell kindly agreed to continue with the match allowing one of our teams to play with 3 players bowling 3, 3 and 2 bowls.

We started the match 6 shots behind from the first leg and at halfway we were leading by 12 shots on the day meaning we were well on target to win back the trophy.

Unfortunately 3 of the rinks slipped back in the second half and we eventually lost by 13 shots on the day and so an overall deficit of 19 for the trophy.

Our only winning rink was Pete Joyner, Harry Ardill, Rodger Shelton and John Gilbey.
