Green Opening Day 15th April 2023

Fine weather was not expected but we were pleased to see blue sky and no sign of rain at the start of play. Two teams, representing the 'President' and the 'Captain', played in an exciting competition on the first day of the 2023 season. resulting in a win for the Captain's team by 56 shots to 33.

The new President's Trophy was donated in 2022 in memory of Ray and Kitty Phillips. Ray was the Club President for 20 years from 1982 to 2002.

The green was in superb condition thanks to the dedicated work of our Greenkeeper, Roger Piosek.

During President's Day on Saturday 24th September 2022 Mrs Laura Absolom presented a New President's Trophy to the Club President Cliff Geary. Mrs Absolom is the daughter of Ray Philips who was Club President for 20 years from 1982 to 2002. The trophy was engraved with the following words:"Donated in memory of Ray and Kitty Phillips"
