The game against Buckingham West End in the Buckingham and District League on Tuesday was certainly warm! It was played in a good atmosphere. Thank you to all our team. Congratulations to Sue Bargent and Charles Gardner who made their first appearances for Winslow Bowls Club in a league match.
It was a close match overall which our visitors deservedly won 3 1.
I must mention Tony Lawrence, Rosie Griffiths and Mick Bigby who had a very close contest, going down 13 12.
Our one victorious triple on the evening was largely due to Sue Bargent leading the way in her debut game and Steve Church with some very accurate bowling - congratulations to you both.
