We played 4 triples on a very hot afternoon.
We stopped after 9 ends to drink some iced water and agreed that we would only play another 5 ends due to the extreme heat and thus the match was reduced to 14 ends.
The result was the opposite of our match at Chandos Park the previous week because this time we won on 3 rinks and went down by 11 shots on the 4 th rink.
However the overall result was a win for Winslow by 54 shots to 44 and our highest winning rink was Norman Line, Sheila Cadge and John Gomersall.
