At 6.30pn, our Chairman welcomed Councillor Gordon Wiseman, Mayor of Winslow and Chairman of the Winslow Town Council, members of the Council and representatives of the building company who constructed the changing rooms for us.
Roger Shelton had arranged a fun bowls match where the teams consisted of a mix of Winslow bowlers and our visitors. We played several matches of 4 ends, and our guests, some who have never bowled before, played well and contributed to a very enjoyable event.
