We played our first match v Aylesbury Town Ladies at home in beautiful sunshine on Weds May 28th
We did manage to field 2 triples, despite illness & injury & battled hard
Although both Winslow teams lost, Lucy Comerford, Fiona Reese & Sue Bargent had a better scoring rate than Sheila Cadge, Jane Stainforth & Valerie Gomersall Thanks to Midge Archer who played her first 9 ends for us
Jill Mead came as one of our 5 spectators & did a grand job in the kitchen afterwards
Interestingly there was never more than 2 shots scored at any time
Our next game is away v Buckingham West End on Tuesday June 10th
