We played 4 triples on another lovely warm afternoon. We started strongly on all 4 rinks and after 9 ends we held an overall lead of 17shots.
However Wing fought back well and in the end we were glad to win by a mere 6 shots with 59 shots to 53. This makes amends for our defeat by one shot last year.
We had 3 wining rinks with shot differences of 4, 4 and 5.
The highest winning rink was Norman Line, John Jeacock and Lucy Comerford.
The other 2 triples who came out on top by 4 shots each were John Jenkins, Tony Lawrence and John Gomersall and Pete Joyner, Mike Jones and Cliff Geary.
All in all another splendid and successful afternoon.
