Althouh originally planned as a 5 Triples, at the request of the VP's the match format was changed to 4 rinks.
As this was the first ever visit by the VP’s to Winslow we were pleased to welcome their VP team. The match started in quite warm weather but the temperature dropped quite quickly after the first hour of play. However we were fortunate to finish the game in warm sunshine.
The final result, a win for Winslow by 83 points to 68, Congratulations to the team of Norman Line, John Jenkins, John Jeacock and Victor Griffiths for highest winning rink.
An enjoyable game of bowls for both teams.
