It was an enjoyable match of five triples against Brackley and the weather stayed dry even though threatening rain a few tims during the afternoon. Play on all rinks was close, and this produced some excellent play from both teams. Winslow secured a 9 shot win, thanks to the team of Norman Line, Tony Lawrence and John Gomerall on our winning rink.
Captain for the day, Tony thanked the Brackley team for their visit and playing their part in a friendly and exciting match which produced a close result.
Final score: Winslow 81, Brackley 72. Last year when we played away at Brackley we lost by a narrow margin of 6 shots, so at was a good result this time for the Winslow team.
