Green Opening Day
We had a great Green Opening event yesterday. The weather was just right for our 1st game of the season.
It was enjoyable, a friendly yet competitive match, the President's team winning by a narrow margin.

Our Grounds Manager, Victor Griffiths, with his team of workers, has prepared our green ready for the start of the outdoor bowling season.
It looks in fantastic condition and already many members have signed up to play in our opening competition, The President's team, led by President President Cliff Geary will play against our Captain's team, led by Club Captain John Gilbey
Last year the President's team beat the Capitan's team with the final score recorded as President 44, Captain 33. The friendly rivalry will continue as we meet on the green on Saturday the 12th April. We start at 2pm so please arrive in good time to help set up. We will pay 14 ends and the President's team will be the home team
