The June social: Race night
Did you miss it? We all enjoyed a super evening and as the weather was fine, enjoyed the event outside in the club garden.
The event started at 18:30 for drinks and time to study the runners and riders before first race at 19:00. Entry, only £2-00 per person, included program giving details of the runners and riders plus each program was numbered and entered into the draw for a mystery prize. There were 6 races with 6 horses per race and Bets cost £0.20
Everyone brought their own nibbles and snacks and, of course the bar was open.
A raffle was held and the 100Club winners were drawn.
Well done, and many thanks to Mick and Carole Bigby for organising and running a great evening, great fun and enjoyed by everyone!
